A Fun Dad and Daughter Nite
The presentation and live music were enjoyable, but at times it was difficult to differentiate between the band playing and the original soundtrack. Typical merch pricing was in place, with a few fun free activities for kids upon entry.
There’s an amateur hour and inexperienced concert-goer element with any show geared toward younger audiences. Many people arrived late, disrupting those who had arrived early. It does disrupt for the people who’ve gotten there early and have taken care of their business.
The show started too late, ticketed for a 7:30 PM start but didn't begin until much later. The warm-up period between the host and the audience should’ve started at 7 PM. The movie did not end until way after 10 PM, which is too late for kids under 10 years old.
The use of the Appix app was a lot of fun, creating visuals and images coordinated with the movie. Staff at PNC Arts Center were extremely friendly and courteous.
